Valuations

We do jewellery valuations for insurance, estate or resale purposes. To ensure accurate valuations, we make use of different instruments, for instance a diamond microscope, duplex refractometer, electronic diamond - and gold scales and a gem weight computer when doing valuations. We also use a master colour set to evaluate the diamond colour. Before a valuation is done, the item it polished, cleaned and checked that all the stones are still secure in its setting.  Each individual valuation certificate comes complete with a colour picture of the item and stored on our computers for future reference.
