Care for your pearls
Always remember that a pearl is a gem, which is organic by nature and grown in water from living cells of a living creature.
· Do not swim with your pearls on
· Never expose to chlorinated water
· Pearls must be kept away from extreme heat
· Store pearls seperately from your other jewelery
· Store pearls in a damp linen cloth as this helps to prevent the pearls from drying out
· Always put your pearls on last when getting ready as make-up, perfume and hairspray can damage your pearls.
· After wear, always remember to wipe your pearls with a soft cloth
· Remove pearls when bathing or showering
Have your pearls restring regularly by a reputable jeweller
